Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
7. Your indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RentCompliant and its associated persons and entities against any claims, losses, damages, or costs arising directly from: (a) inaccurate or false information you have provided to this service; or (b) your unlawful or improper use of any document generated by this service. If you are a consumer within the meaning of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (CCR 2013), you have a right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason (the cancellation period). However, where you expressly request that RentCompliant begins providing the service before the end of the cancellation period and the service is fully performed (the Written Statement generated and delivered) before that period expires, you will lose your right to cancel. You give this express request and acknowledgement by ticking the relevant box at the point of payment. Where you cancel before the service is fully performed but after supply has commenced, you may be required to pay for services provided up to the point of cancellation on a pro-rata basis.
